Head Injury Support (HIS) is an established charity based in Newry, providing vital, person-centred rehabilitation, wellbeing, respite, and long-term support for adults living with both traumatic and non-traumatic acquired brain injury (ABI), and their families.

This month, we are delighted to shine a spotlight on Specially Connected, a dedicated organisation working to create a more inclusive and understanding society for children with additional learning needs and their families. NICVA member The Little Forget Me Nots Trust is dedicated to ensuring no bereaved parent ever feels they have to navigate baby loss alone. Their trauma-informed, community-led support begins where clinical care ends - offering creative, compassionate spaces for families to process grief and begin learning to live with grief.

When a group of passionate older adults came together in 2011 to form the Mid and East Antrim Agewell Partnership (Agewell), their vision was to connect the three areas in the newly formed Mid and East Antrim and form strong networks.

This October marks a major milestone for Cancer Lifeline, as the organisation celebrates 25 years of delivering vital cancer support services and programmes to the community of North Belfast and Newtownabbey.
